FINALLY!!! Its out!!! (YEAH)

Well, was really anticipating for this album & after hearing the entire album for the past 3 days…(ahem) I must say … Well, it could have been better?!

There are news that some really great people are working on this album before the official release, therefore, kinda expect much of this album… JJ Lin, Tanya Chua, Qing Feng of Su Da Lui & Xu Ze Pei are the ones penning tracks for this album…

“Wandering Poet” are a project off Xu’s…and I must (honestly) say that the 1st time I hear it, dun really like it but the 2nd time, starts to get the bite of it… Now its 1 of my favourites from the album.

“Dr.Jolin” – (also penned by Xu) is a fun track…

“Friday The 13th” – is another track that will get u moving…

“Colour Photos” – (penned by Qing Feng) Definitely 1 of the favourite from him, there are 3 tracks penned by him but this is THE best (well, my opinion…)

“Someone” – Not the kind of usual songs that Jolin will sings, its a new try from her…

“Mosaic” – MY Favourite. The lyrics, the simple music, fabulous job by JJ Lin. (Sometimes simple track like this is far by better than any other.)

“I” – (penned by Tanya Chua) The 1st time I hear it, I know its from Tanya cos the way Jolin presents the song, you can clearly hear how “Tanya-Style” it is (esp obvious during the chorus). It has a very touching lyrics, it will be a good song to end a concert.

– – – Overall, this album is not so-much more of fast-tempo tracks but more of mid-tempos… The ballads (as compared to fast tracks) are faring better… Other than the 1st single, “The Great Artiste” , the rest are so-so… And after years of not penning any tracks by herself, Jolin finally do one for this album but … its not the kind of ballads that she used to do (Really kinda disappointed)… – – –

(therefore, I m not being biased cos Jolin’s my favourite artiste.)

Lastly, I really hope that Warner will release the MVs for “Mosaic” & “I” …
